Healthy Habits of a Life of Faith
Week 14: April 22
Thank you's and heart of offering
We hope this was a fulfilling and rewarding experience - a chance to give, receive, learn, and grow together. As this is our final week of the rotation, we invite you to use this week’s call as a reflection and wrap up of your experience together.
You’ve each given your time, heart, attention, and care over the last 10 weeks, and we encourage you to see this week as a chance to offer that - to each other and to our Heavenly Parent.
Here are a few suggested questions to touch on. We encourage you to take a few minutes before your call to reflect on them:
- What have you learned about yourself? About growth?
- How has this helped you in your life of faith?
- What are three things you want to continue to do to develop your life of faith?
- Is there something you’d like to express to your mentor/mentee? Gratitude, affirmation, etc.
"It seems as if we are losing the most precious things when we sacrifice or when we offer something; but by offering something to God we never lose anything. God will give back even more precious things to you. God wants to give you everything, everything precious - truth, life, love, joy, eternal life - everything. But even for God it is impossible to give something unconditionally. Therefore, an offering is just a condition through which God can give more precious things than we offered." - Rev. Sudo
Is there someone you know that would make a great mentor? Someone who would feel supported and encouraged as a mentee during our next rotation? We invite you to share a highlight/takeaway from your mentoring experience with someone you know! Your testimony can be a powerful way in encouraging someone to get connected! (And we’d be grateful! :))
